Start of "RICE SAVES LIFE Project"!

YOLO JAPAN Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of "RICE SAVES LIFE Project" with Konami Foods "Delicious rice that sticks to your heart" as food support for foreigners living in Japan.

The "RICE SAVES LIFE Project" believes "food" to be the biggest problem for foreigners living in Japan, and Konami Foods, a top rice wholesaler in Osaka, is using the strength of YOLO JAPAN's 130,000 users to present Japanese rice to foreigners as emergency food.

The consumption of rice has halved since it peaked in 1962, and Konami Foods wants to convey the deliciousness of Japanese rice to foreigners living in Japan and has partnered with YOLO JAPAN who is always devoted to the support of foreigners living in Japan to bring us the "RICE SAVES LIFE Project."

Furthermore, as a collaborator, "RIE," who won the grand prize in the 2012 ANA 60th Anniversary Aircraft Design Contest as "Kazuha Rinnu" and who is active as a professional illustrator in New York, Cambodia, and around the world, made the package design for us.

Additionally, Japanese rice as emergency rations will be distributed free of charge to all participants at the "YOLO JAPAN FESTIVAL 2019" festival for foreigners in Japan to be held at "YOLO BASE" in Shin-Imamiya, Osaka on November 23, 2019.
